New 5-star rum tasting bar: an unmissable experience in Mauritius

Rum lovers and visitors seeking authentic experiences in Mauritius now have a new must-visit destination: the brand-new tasting bar at the Village Boutik of L’Aventure du Sucre!

Designed as a true space for discovery and sharing, this newly modernized venue charms guests with its warm and refined atmosphere. The spacious tasting bar, specially created to welcome both individual visitors and groups, invites guests to take their time discovering some of the finest Mauritian rums in an elegant and contemporary setting.

Beyond the tasting bar itself, the retail area has also been completely redesigned down to the smallest detail: new lighting, premium bottle displays, and warm materials throughout. The scenography highlights three major rum universes that showcase the identity, origins, and aromatic characteristics of New Grove Distillery, allowing visitors to better appreciate the richness of rum traditions from around the world.

This new visual identity, imagined by the French agency Clémence Farrell and developed in partnership with Grays, transforms the space into a true showcase of Mauritian expertise and craftsmanship in rum-making.

Visitors can enjoy tastings of around fifteen 5-star rums from New Grove Distillery, the oldest operating distillery in Mauritius, renowned for its authenticity, aromatic finesse, and exceptional quality.
