This new season will kick off with the French film En fanfare, directed by Emmanuel Courcol.
Thibaut is an internationally renowned orchestra conductor who travels the world. When he discovers that he was adopted, he learns of the existence of a brother, Jimmy — a school cafeteria worker who plays the trombone in a brass band in northern France. On the surface, everything seems to set them apart, except for their shared love of music. Recognizing his brother’s exceptional musical talent, Thibaut sets out to right the injustice of fate. Jimmy then begins to dream of a different life…
